Best part of the month of March
Emma Kaye McCarroll :)
My niece was born today! She is absolutely beautiful. Seven pounds and 15 ounces. Best part about her being born in Rock Springs was that she was in the colleges backyard! The hospital is right behind WWCC. So in between classes I got to visit her. Well here is a picture of her. She's pretty cute, huh?

Spring Break
Spring Break...Already OVER! Oh my goodness.
So here's a rundown of what I did:
1) Colorado on Friday, March 11th
Drove with my cousin, Paden, and made it around 6 in CO Springs. Saw my best friend. :) Saturday, went to the military base that is in Colorado Springs. Visited Kylie's boyfriend, Curtis. Ate lunch with him and then left and went for a tour around the city. Went to Garden of the God's and took a few pictures. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I never knew that rock structures could be that pretty. Then we ended up climbing to the base of one of the mountains. It was kind of a long way to the top with flip flops and gladiators so we decided to just get to the base and then go back down. Bought Kylie some fish for her room. Then woke up the next morning and got on the road headed to Illinois.
2) Illinois on Sunday the 13th
Made it about 10 at night. Stayed at my Aunt and Uncle's. Woke up the next morning to my three smiling cousins who are all under the age of 7. Quite adorable. Hung out around my hometown till Wednesday. Then I drove into Chicago to pick up Kelsie, who is the Hall Director of Aspen. She came to visit me while I was there. We came back that evening and babysat my little cousins who informed us about Leprechauns. They steal your gold. :) Then the next day we went into Arlington Heights (Suburb of Chicago) and took a train into downtown Chicago. We set next to an awesome girl named Heather who worked in the city as a tattoo artist. She was talking all about her work and it made me want to get one. Ate authentic Chicago Style pizza which was amazing. Checked out the Willis Tower which used to be the Sears tower. Pretty legit. Tried to walk to Michigan Ave but got lost so took a cab to the Water Tower Place, which is a fantastic mall. Did some shopping and then made it back to the train station. Next day we just hung out and then went bowling with the family in the evening. The next day, Saturday, was my birthday. Just went around town and got my hair done at the salon I used to work at by my second mom. Then went to my Aunt's to celebrate mine and my Grandma's birthday. Had a wonderful dinner and then decided to leave to go back to Wyoming at 11:30 that night. Made it back in one piece! :)

The Colorado
Spring Break is FINALLY here. :) It took a really long time to come. I have some cool plans for this year. Today my cousin Paden and I drove to Colorado Springs, CO to visit my best friend/soul sister Kylie. She's a junior there at the University of Colorado. It is absolutely beautiful here! Definitely a GREAT start to break. More of my adventures to come!
