Aspen and Walmart

 Aspen Mountain Hall:

As I have said in my bio I am a RA for Western. I am a RA this year in Aspen Mountain Hall which is located about a mile from the main campus. A RA stands for Resident Assistant. If you live on campus you will have a designated RA on your floor. This person is in charge of checking you in and out of your room when you move in and out of the dorms. A RA also helps you with any problems your room may have by contacting maintenance, helps you feel like a part of campus by telling you of upcoming events, and is around if you ever just want to talk to someone. We're pretty super fun people. :)

One of the great things about Aspen Mountain Hall is that it is located right behind Walmart. When you're a college student Walmart is literally your best friend. :) Also, it is open 24/7 which is also extremely convenient. I just felt that I should brag about how wonderful Walmart is.

The Beloved Meltdown

So the beauty about our beloved Rock Springs is that for about two days in the middle of every winter the weather decides to be kind and warms up to a balmy 50 degrees. And even though it is usually a tad windy here, there hasn't been any for the past few days. Quite romantic and thoughtful of little Rock Springs this Valentine's week.
